The 3D Edge Finder TP06-V6 adopts multiple waterproof and dustproof designs, which can maximize the service life of the probe. Compatible with , GRBL CNC , Mach3 and all other controllers that can use probe input signals , support coordinate hub, easy wiring, strong practicability.

Light display: with signal light prompt, green light will be displayed after booting, red light will be displayed after triggering, which is intuitive and clear. The case is made of anodized aluminum alloy with a flat anti-roll design, stainless steel needles and tungsten steel balls.

Multi-function: Quickly find edges, find the center of the circle, measure the table shape, and solve the problem of workpiece positioning.

Wiring

         VCC / Red wire: Connect to power supply DC 5V-24V

         IO (Out) / Yellow wire: Signal output line, connect to controller input signal (output voltage is same as VCC input voltage)

         GND (0 Vdc)/ Black wire: Connec to to GND

The 3D Edge Finder TP06-V6 is packed in a reinforced plastic box with hard foam padding. The 3D Edge Finder TP06-V6 is supplied with a 2m long connection cable, on one side a USB C-connector and on the other side there are free wires in the colors explained in the wiring section.


 

3D Edge Finder TP06-V6 Calibration

 

 

The 3D Edge Finder TP06-V6 comes with an installed stylus (tungsten steel ball stainless steel stylus)
The concentricity is fine-tuned to within 0.05 before shipment.
When using it for the first time, it should be finely calibrated.

Notice:
Please be sure to use AAA or above precision grade ER spring collet, otherwise the probe cannot be guaranteed concentricity during use (you need to calibrate it every time after removed from spindle).

Installation

  • The folder Probe Wizard EN from the archive put inside the folder: ⁄Mach3 ⁄Addons
  • All files from the /macros folder from the archive should be placed inside the macro folder with their own machine profile, by default this is ⁄Mach3 ⁄macros⁄Mach3Mill

Before you can use the 3D Edge Finder TP06-V6, you need to do two following things:

  • Find the free input signal on the CNC control board and connect the probe input to this signal.
  • Configure Ports and Pins and trigger level configuration inside Mach3 (See image above).

 

Enter the configuration interface as example here the Port is 1, Pin Number is 15, then enable it on, if your probe is normally open (NPN-NO), Active Low is not active, if your probe is normally closed (NPN-NC), Active Low is active. (Our default probe is NPN-NO normally open, so it remains unchanged (Active Low not enabled))
