Description
Lusintun BT30 ATC Spindle
The Lusintun 3.0 kW ATC spindle is a liquid-cooled CNC machining spindle designed for automatic tool-change systems on routers, compact machining centres, engraving machines and milling equipment. Its reinforced 100 mm body, pneumatic BT30-class clamping system and precision bearing construction support stable high-speed operation, repeatable tool changes and productive machining of aluminium, copper, engineering plastics, composites and similar materials.
Two voltage versions are available: 220 V and 380 V. Both use a 4-pole motor with 12,000 RPM rated speed, up to 24,000 RPM maximum speed and a rated / maximum frequency of 400 / 800 Hz.
Models and Core Technical Data
The primary table is intentionally limited to the most important selection values so the model, voltage, speed, interface and SKU remain readable without excessive line wrapping.

Key Performance Benefits
- Automatic tool change: Pneumatic clamping and release support carousel, rack and linear tool-magazine systems.
- High-speed bearing system: Reduced friction and heat generation support smooth operation at elevated spindle speeds.
- Reinforced spindle body: Increased rigidity helps reduce vibration and improve machining stability.
- Compact installation: The 100 mm cylindrical body suits rigid Z-axis spindle mounts for compact CNC machines.
- Wide speed range: The 4-pole motor operates from a 12,000 RPM rated point up to 24,000 RPM.
- Liquid cooling: Continuous coolant circulation supports longer high-speed machining cycles.

Installation and Maintenance Checklist
- Use a rigid 100 mm spindle mount and verify that the Z-axis can safely carry the 13 kg spindle.
- Provide clean, dry and regulated compressed air at the specified 8 bar.
- Establish liquid coolant circulation before starting the spindle and monitor the cooling loop during operation.
- Keep the BT30 taper, holder and pull stud clean to maintain reliable seating and tool-change performance.
- Verify clamp and unclamp sensors, magazine alignment and tool-holder compatibility before automatic operation.
- Stop the machine if bearing noise, vibration, temperature or runout changes unexpectedly.

FAQ frequently asked questions
Which spindle versions are covered on this page?
This page covers the 3.0 kW, 4-pole, 24,000 RPM spindle in separate 220 V and 380 V variants.
Can the 220 V and 380 V versions use the same inverter?
No. The inverter voltage class must match the selected spindle, although the main speed and frequency targets are similar.
Are BT30, NBT30 and ISO30 holders interchangeable?
Do not assume full interchangeability. Confirm taper, pull stud, gripper and magazine geometry for the complete ATC system.
What compressed-air supply is required?
Use clean, dry and regulated compressed air at the listed 8 bar operating pressure.
What are the benefits of the high-speed bearing system?
It reduces friction and heat generation, supporting smoother operation at high spindle speed.
Does the spindle require continuous cooling?
Yes. Establish coolant circulation before operation and maintain it throughout machining.
Which machines suit this spindle?
Typical applications include CNC routers, compact machining centres, engraving machines, drilling systems and milling equipment.
What should be checked before the first tool change?
Verify air pressure, clamping sensors, holder compatibility, magazine alignment, coolant flow, protective earth and spindle direction.
