Corner Cube Connector

Description

The Corner Cube Connector is a compact mechanical connector for building clean, rigid 90° corners in modular aluminium profile structures. The range covers 30×30 mm and 40×40 mm profile systems, with 2-way versions for joining two profiles and 3-way versions for joining three profiles at one corner.

Cube-style corner connectors are commonly used in aluminium extrusion frames because they provide a compact external corner connection and keep the joint geometry easy to align during assembly. Typical applications include CNC machine frames, guards and enclosures, workstations, equipment stands, automation structures and other modular profile constructions.

The drawing and table below identify the four available connector models. Dimensions are shown in millimetres; use the model code and SKU to select the connector that matches the profile size and required 2-way or 3-way corner configuration.

Models and Selection

Select the connector by profile cross-section and by the number of profiles meeting at the corner:

• CUBE-3030-2W: 2-way corner connector for joining two 30×30 mm aluminium profiles. SKU 1141001.
• CUBE-3030-3W: 3-way corner connector for joining three 30×30 mm aluminium profiles. SKU 1141002.
• CUBE-4040-2W: 2-way corner connector for joining two 40×40 mm aluminium profiles. SKU 1141003.
• CUBE-4040-3W: 3-way corner connector for joining three 40×40 mm aluminium profiles. SKU 1141004.
• Material: Anodized zinc alloy, according to the current supplier data for this product.

Each cube connector is supplied with plastic plugs that cover the screw holes. The 2-way versions include two covers, while the 3-way versions include three covers.

For installations using profiles from another manufacturer, verify the profile geometry and fixing interface before assembly because nominally similar profile sizes can use different slot systems.

Assembly

The connector is fitted at the end of the aluminium profiles to form the required 90° corner. Align the profiles before final tightening so the frame remains square, then fit the supplied plastic plugs over the screw openings.
