Description

The FK Type bearing housing is a compact support unit for machined ball screw and spindle-drive shafts used in CNC machines, routers and automation systems. The series is available in FK10, FK12, FK15, FK17 and FK20 sizes, allowing the housing to be selected according to the machined shaft end and installation dimensions.

The units are supplied with radial bearings. For applications requiring greater precision and durability, compatible angular-contact bearing sets can be ordered separately. Use the dimensional drawings and table below to compare models, verify installation dimensions and download the corresponding 3D model for your design.

Dimensions, Models and 3D Downloads

The drawings define the dimension references used in the technical table. Match the required housing size to the corresponding row and use the existing 3D download link for CAD integration and machine-layout planning.

FK housings are supplied with radial bearings. If your application requires greater precision and durability, compatible angular-contact bearing sets can be ordered separately: Angular Contact Bearings.

Selection and Installation Notes

The FK support unit is compact and intended to simplify installation in machines where available space is limited. The bearings are greased and adjusted in the housing, reducing the need for additional bearing alignment during installation.

  • Model selection: Choose FK10, FK12, FK15, FK17 or FK20 according to the machined shaft-end dimensions shown above.
  • Machine integration: Use the dimensional drawings and preserved 3D files to verify mounting space before machining or assembly.
  • Additional sizes: If you need an FK size not listed in the table or online shop, contact Vallder with the required model or dimensions for availability.

Assembly Examples

The reference images below show typical ball screw support, housing alignment and motor-side assembly arrangements. Use them together with your machine drawing and the dimensional data above when planning the installation.

Compact mounting flexibility: In an FK/FF support arrangement, the FK housing can be mounted in either of two orientations, depending on the available installation space. This allows the installation direction to be selected to make better use of compact machine space where clearance is limited.
