This is high performance stepper motor + controller specifically designed for 3D Printing. It can also be used for other generic applications. It is the latest and upgraded model of the SERVO42A and SERVO42B. This is a closed loop stepper motor. It merges the benefits of both stepper and servo motors.

It includes a driver onboard and the motor direction and speed can be controlled by 2 Digital IO signals – DIR and STP, similar to the popular A4988 and DRV8825 drivers. The onboard controller also senses the actual rotation of the shaft to compensate automatically for missed steps. The maximum speed, torque, current can be set onboard through the OLED Display. The motor utilises high performance PID algorithm to control the output shaft as per the input signals.

When used in 3D Printing, this motor offers higher print detail, control and finish. This motor can directly replace DIY 3D Printer Steppers with compatible controllers. Generally most controllers which use A4988, DRV8825, other similar drivers can drive this stepper with no modifications. Check the datasheet of this product before ordering to ensure it is compatible with your 3D Printer.
