Description
The Oil Brush Lubricator is a compact mechanical applicator designed to deliver lubricant directly and evenly to moving chains and other drive components. Its flexible PA6 nylon bristles follow the chain profile and distribute oil across the contact area, helping reduce friction, wear, operating noise and unnecessary lubricant consumption. The aluminium brush body includes an internal oil passage for connection to centralized, gravity-fed or drip lubrication systems.
Unlike open dripping or foam application methods, a lubrication brush places oil where it is needed while limiting oversupply and contamination around the machine. This makes it a practical choice for conveyor systems, industrial machinery, CNC-related automation, packaging lines and other equipment with continuously or intermittently running chains.

Controlled Lubrication of Chains and Sprockets
The brush should be positioned so the bristle tips make light, continuous contact with the chain as it travels over or away from the sprocket. Lubricant passes through the hollow body into the bristles, which spread it across the chain surface and into the link, roller and pin area. Flexible bristles compensate for small contour and height variations without requiring high contact pressure.
Application and Operating Benefits
- Precise oil placement: Applies lubricant directly to the moving chain instead of the surrounding machine area.
- Even distribution: Flexible bristles follow the chain profile and spread oil across the contact zone.
- Lower lubricant waste: Controlled application helps prevent oversupply, dripping and unnecessary contamination.
- Reduced friction and wear: Regular lubrication supports smoother movement and longer service intervals.
- Flexible system integration: Suitable for centralized pumps, gravity-feed systems and adjustable drip oilers.
- Industrial applications: Conveyor chains, machine drive chains, packaging equipment, automation systems and general machinery.

Installation and Maintenance Guidance
- Mounting position: Install the brush on a stable bracket where it can contact a controlled section of the chain.
- Contact pressure: Set only enough pressure for the bristle tips to follow the chain; excessive pressure accelerates wear.
- Oil flow: Start with a low feed rate and adjust according to chain speed, load, lubricant viscosity and operating conditions.
- Inspection: Check the brush regularly for contamination, blocked oil flow, uneven contact and worn bristles.
- Lubricant selection: Use an oil compatible with the chain, operating temperature, process environment and lubrication system.
