SHAC GHH Linear Block — GHR Series Heavy-Duty Square Linear Guide Block

Compact design. High rigidity. Verified SHAC–HIWIN interchangeability.

The SHAC GHH Linear Block is a heavy-duty, square-body recirculating ball carriage designed for accurate and reliable linear motion in CNC routers, milling machines, machine tools, gantry systems and industrial automation. Its compact non-flanged body provides a rigid mounting interface while reducing the installation width required on the moving plate. The GHR Series ball-circulation geometry supports smooth, low-friction travel and load capacity in the radial, reverse-radial and lateral directions.

Vallder offers the commonly used GHH15CA, GHH20CA, GHH25CA and GHH30CA models on this product page. These selected sizes cover a broad range of compact CNC and industrial linear-axis requirements, while additional GHR Series sizes may be available by request. Each block must be paired with a rail of the corresponding nominal size.

Key Features and Applications

Key Features:

  • Compact square-body carriage:
The non-flanged GHH format minimizes mounting width while maintaining a rigid connection to the machine structure.
  • Heavy-duty recirculating-ball system:
The internal ball circuit provides smooth movement and supports demanding CNC and industrial duty cycles.
  • Equal four-direction load capacity:
The raceway geometry supports radial, reverse-radial and lateral loads for flexible axis orientation.
  • Integrated sealing and lubrication:
End seals help protect the ball circuit, while the grease port supports scheduled relubrication.
  • Standard profile geometry:
Corresponding SHAC GHR and HIWIN HG components can be combined when the series, nominal size and technical configuration match.

Application:

Suitable for CNC routers, milling machines, engraving systems, laser and plasma equipment, machine tools, gantry axes, pick-and-place systems and industrial positioning assemblies that require compact dimensions, rigidity and repeatable linear movement.

SHAC–HIWIN Series Compatibility

SHAC has confirmed to Vallder that the GHR Series rail and block geometry is interchangeable with the corresponding HIWIN HG Series, and Vallder has verified this compatibility in practice. Components of the same nominal size can therefore be combined in both directions:

  • SHAC GHH-CA block series ↔ HIWIN HGH-CA block series
  • SHAC GHR rail series ↔ HIWIN HGR rail series
  • SHAC GHH-CA blocks can run on corresponding HIWIN HGR rails.
  • HIWIN HGH-CA blocks can run on corresponding SHAC GHR rails.

Compatibility note:
Always match the nominal size and verify the required accuracy class, preload, sealing arrangement and lubrication specification for the application. Mechanical interchangeability does not mean that load ratings or factory configuration codes are identical between manufacturers.

Vallder Supply and Technical Support

Vallder Ltd directly imports original SHAC linear motion components and supports customers with block and rail selection, replacement identification and compatibility checks. For replacement projects, provide the complete marking from the existing block or rail together with the required accuracy, preload and operating conditions.

⚠️ Use matched, specification-controlled components. Unbranded or off-spec alternatives may use different raceway tolerances, preload or sealing arrangements, which can affect smoothness, service life and positioning repeatability.

FAQ frequently asked questions

Are SHAC GHH blocks interchangeable with HIWIN linear guide components?

Yes. SHAC has confirmed, and Vallder has verified, that corresponding SHAC GHR Series and HIWIN HG Series blocks and rails are mechanically interchangeable when the nominal size matches. SHAC GHH-CA blocks can run on HIWIN HGR rails, and HIWIN HGH-CA blocks can run on SHAC GHR rails.

What is the difference between GHH and GHW blocks?

GHH is the compact square-body, non-flanged carriage format. GHW is the wider flanged format with a larger mounting footprint. Both belong to the SHAC GHR Series, but their mounting dimensions and carriage shape are different.

Which GHH block size should I choose?

Select the block according to the matching rail size, axis load, static moment, required rigidity and available mounting space. The block and rail must have the same nominal size, such as GHH20CA with a GH20 or HGR20 rail.

Is the rail included with the GHH block?

No. This product listing is for one SHAC GHH linear block. The matching SHAC GHR Series rail is ordered separately according to the required nominal size and length.

Can the GHH block be mounted in different orientations?

Yes. The block can be used in horizontal, vertical, inverted or wall-mounted axes when the machine design, load direction and lubrication arrangement are correctly specified.

How is the GHH block lubricated?

Lubrication is applied through the integrated grease nipple. Use a lubricant suitable for recirculating linear guides and set the relubrication interval according to travel, load, speed and environmental contamination.
