Description

The Spring T Nut is a drop-in fastening element for aluminium profile systems, designed for installation directly through the open slot without dismantling the surrounding frame. The integrated spring helps hold the nut in position inside the slot, making alignment easier during assembly and reducing unwanted movement before the screw is tightened.

This product family is available for 20, 30 and 40 profile series with M4, M5, M6 and M8 internal thread options depending on the selected variant. The existing dimensional drawing is intentionally retained inside the primary technical table so that the measurements and corresponding models can be reviewed together.

Key Features

  • Drop-in installation: Inserts directly through the open profile slot without dismantling the surrounding aluminium structure.
  • Spring retention: The integrated spring helps keep the nut at the selected position before final tightening.
  • Multiple profile series: Variants are available for 20, 30 and 40 aluminium-profile systems.
  • Thread selection: Depending on profile size, internal threads are available in M4, M5, M6 and M8.
  • Assembly flexibility: Useful when adding brackets, plates or accessories to an already assembled frame.

Selection and Compatibility

Select the Spring T Nut according to the aluminium profile series first, then choose the required metric thread. The product code identifies both parameters: for example, Spring-T-nut-40-M8 is intended for the 40 profile family with an M8 internal thread.

The drop-in design is especially useful when the profile ends are already closed or inaccessible. Before assembly, confirm that the selected nut geometry matches the slot used by the corresponding profile system.

Typical Applications

Spring T Nuts are commonly used in CNC machine frames, router structures, worktables, guards, sensor mounts, brackets and other modular aluminium-profile assemblies where components may need to be added or repositioned after the main frame has been built.

Product View and Installation Concept

The image below shows the Spring T Nut and its spring-supported construction used to retain the nut inside the aluminium profile slot.

Installation Notes

Insert the Spring T Nut from above into the open profile slot, orient it so the threaded hole aligns with the fastening point and slide it to the required position. The spring keeps the nut supported in the slot while the corresponding screw and mounted component are positioned and tightened.
